Joyce Sterling currently serves as a Commercial Broker for Cypressbrook Company, where she is responsible for generating new commercial real estate opportunities in the land, office, and industrial areas in leasing and sales. She has extensive knowledge working with Builders to obtain land or lots. Prior to joining Cypressbrook Joyce worked as a broker for Wimberley Land Company in Wimberley, Texas for 12 years. Primarily she worked with large land owners, as well as residential and commercial developers and builders. Duties include sales and marketing of properties, as well as obtaining permits and other entitlements from municipal, county, state and federal agencies. She was the #1 sales agent in Hays County in 2005. Prior to her involvement in the real estate industry, she was President/CEO of the Houston- based Energy Use Engineering specializing in predominant use energy studies of electricity and natural gas usage for Manufacturing, processing and fabrication companies in Texas. She developed and maintained a large corporate client base. Prior to Energy Use Engineering, Joyce worked as sales manager for Aftco Enterprises operating near Houston Intercontinental Airport. She developed and established new accounts for airline freight managers of Continental, Delta, TWA, British Airways and United Airlines. Joyce attended North Harris County College. She is fully licensed to practice real estate as prescribed by the Texas Real Estate Commission and has completed a multitude of Real Estate Courses in Real Estate Law, Real Estate Marketing, Commercial Real Estate Sales and Risk Management and Land Brokerage. Joyce received recognition by Houston Business Journal as a “Top Commercial Broker” in 2012. Joyce enjoys spending quality time with her grandchildren. Snow skiing is her favorite sport and she enjoys a multitude of activities.
