Richard Zigler serves as a Principal at Cypressbrook Company where he directs its multifamily acquisition activities. His primary duties include locating, analyzing, and pursuing multifamily acquisition and development opportunities. His responsibilities include due diligence, financing, and asset management of these assets. Richard also serves as a principal at Cypressbrook Capital Partners where he arranges debt and equity financing for commercial real estate. Prior to joining the Cypressbrook team, Richard worked for The Barvin Group where he handled acquisition, financing, and asset management for their multifamily portfolio. Prior to that, Richard served as Director at LMI Capital where he brokered 200 loans totaling over $1 billion in debt. Before that, Richard headed up site acquisition for The Kaplan Companies, a regional multifamily developer. Earlier in his career Richard ran the research and consulting arm of O’Connor & Associates. At O’Connor Richard’s team collected and analyzed data on 16,000 multifamily and commercial properties throughout Texas and Richard served as primary feasibility consultant for real estate projects totaling in excess of $1.2 billion. Richard received a Bachelor of Arts from Rice University and a Juris Doctorate from Emory University School of Law. In his spare time, Richard enjoys reading, sports, and spending time with his wife.
